Since it’s November, I thought I’d do a blog post with Thankfulness as the theme. Some of the entries will be humorous and joking, but make no mistake about it, we are a thankful bunch. It is not lost on us how fortunate we are….we are all healthy, happy, and surrounded by a warm house and great friends. We each have hobbies that we love and manage to enjoy each other (most of the time….hey, we are not perfect).
But, in a lighthearted manner, here are some things we are thankful for:
Charlie is thankful for Reese.
Malory is thankful for her siblings. She idolizes them and gets herself all ready for the bus each morning, complete with her “pack pack.” She walks them to the bus stop and waves and tells them to have a great day. Then, she goes home and torments Walter.
John and Walter are thankful for naps. Anytime, anywhere.
Next, this nice and very patient man showed the kids how to make Indian jewelry. I don’t have a picture of the finished product, but believe me when I say they were fantastic. Jackson and Reese didn’t take them off for days. I have no idea where they are now:-)
As a group, we were all thankful for the beautiful weather and accommodations. Check that out….a beach that is connected to a pool. Awesome. My little waterbugs were so happy.
